ISLAMABAD, Pakistan - Pakistan has been declared the safest country in the South Asian region by Gallup Global.
Pakistan and Sri Lanka are the safest countries in South Asia, according to Gallup Global's latest 2021 study.
The agency's report said that both countries scored an 84 on the Gallup Global Law and Order Index.
The organization's research shows, Pakistan ranks 16th better than India in the overall world law and order index. It is ranked 40th in the index, whereas India is ranked 56th.
The report states that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the safest country for lone travelers, with Norway coming in second and China coming in third.
Switzerland is ranked fourth, and Finland is ranked fifth in the survey.
