WASHINGTON -- Five people were killed and at least three others seriously injured after a car crash on Friday evening on a highway in Charlotte, a major city in southern U.S. state North Carolina, local media reported.

ISLAMABAD -- Death toll of the collision between a train and a passenger van in Pakistan's eastern city of Sheikhupura has risen to 22 on Friday night, Quratul Ain, spokesperson of Pakistan Railways said.
