Career-wise, a recognised game by the sports council helps a student get each and every possible benefit. One learns self-defence, as well as health and fitness, is maintained," Iqbal added.

When asked students how they are benefitting from the game, one student said with the help of this tournament they can go for play nationals and even internationals.

"The certificates are valued and can be used in education and job. It will keep us both mentally and physically fit as well. Students should come for this tournament. More the students participate, the better it will be for them in the future," another student said.

One more student said, "It is an open state championship wherein anybody can participate. It gives opportunities to students. It is a really good game especially for girls for their self-defence.
