Increase in movement of trucks on National Highway in J-K: MHA

New Delhi, August 21 : The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday said that the law and order situation in Jammu and Kashmir is being closely monitored and there is an increase in the movement of trucks on the National Highways.
According to their report, today until 2 p.m., 970 trucks moved with essential commodities from Jammu to Kashmir out of which 343 were of food-grains, 128 of meat and 188 of fuel and petrol products.
Similarly, 1033 trucks moved from Srinagar for Jammu out of which 437 were trucks with fruits and 96 trucks carried vegetables.
