Pak SC forms 10-member bench to decide Musharraf's re-election bid

Islamabad, Oct 3 : Pakistan's Supreme Court on Wednesday extended the eight-member bench, which will be hearing petitions against the validity of President Pervez Musharraf's nomination paper for his re-election bid, to a 10-member bench.
Justice Tassadduq Hussain Jilani and Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday have been added to the bench, after lawyers of Justice retired Wajeehuddin requested the court for forming a full court to hear the three constitutional petitions.
After the extension, the 10-member larger bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Javed Iqbal consists of Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar, Justice Muhammad Nawaz Abbasi, Justice Faqir Muhammad Khokar, Justice Nasirul Mulk, Justice Raja Fayyaz Ahmed, Justice Syed Jamshed Ali, Justice Ghulam Rabbani, Justice Tasadduq Hussain Jilani and justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday, The News reported.
